KARA KLIPS 

With over 15 years total of general horse experience, Kara has been grooming horses from "home" shows to "Rated" for over 10 years. Starting in the AQHA circuit, she self-taught in face/leg clipping and braiding as well for fitting for the halter classes - good enough to turn horses out to big time show arenas! 

Kara became familiar with body clipping when she took on the task of caring for a retired geriatric horse with Cushing's Disease. She was able to apply her skills and further practice when she became the "official un-official" groom for her Vocational Agriculture high school program.

As she became a horse owner and began clipping in order to ride indoors in the winter, she became educated about clipper care, blades, upkeep, and types of clips. Practice alone and tips from the pros along the way gave her the skills and experience to professionally offer her services and have a long history with all of the clients she has gained since 2016 when she started "Kara Klips".
